These V flute router bits are often used for a balanced tool where a smooth finish is preferred.  It is excellent when used with hand routers like Porter Cable, Milwaukee, Bosch, etc.... and excellent with foams, medium woods, natural and hardwoods like walnut, oak, mahogany, poplar, teak, cherry, beech, birch, and ash.  Also works well with non-abrasive plastics.
