*      Location       Run and bike in Wheaton, IL at intersection of W. Liberty Drive and S. Carlton Street.  Golf at The Village Links of Glen Ellyn, 485 winchell Way, Glen Ellyn, IL  60137.

*      Registration and Fees   To be considered for Triple Challenge, complete your registration by printing the form at the following link: registration form.   Entry fee is noted below.  All proceeds after costs will be applied directly to the above charity.  Entries will be confirmed after fee and complete registration is received.  Click here for a registration form.  Make entry checks payable to Triple Challenge.  Mail application and check to Triple Challenge, P.O. Box 63, Glen Ellyn, IL  60138-0063.

*       Formats Four formats are available: 

(1) Individual: one person completes all three events. 

(2) 2 person team: each person completes all three events: 5K run - combined time;  33K bike - combined time; 18 holes of golf - co-ed team format is scramble, male team and female team format is 6 holes scramble, 6 holes alternate shot, 6 holes best ball.

(3) 3 person team: each person completes only 1 event.  5K run, 32K bike, 18 holes golf.  Entry fee is $85.00 per participant.  Only 1 person can attend dinner and lunch due to space limitations.

(4) Individual: one person completes the 5 K run and 33K bike (essentially a Double Challenge).  See fee charge above.  We will list results for these participants. 

Age divisions: 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older. 

**    Run Format: The run will start at mile marker 0 on the Prairie Path and head Northwest for 2.5K and return on the same route back to mile marker 0.   This is generally a flat course with some minor hills.  Water will be provide in cups at the half way point.  The run route will be posted to the website in the future.  After the race, water will be available.

**    Bike Format:  The bike will start at mile marker 0 on the Prairie Path and head Northwest for 16K (10 miles) and return on the same route back to mile marker 0.  This is not a closed course and bikers must follow the rules of the Prairie Path and road (at crossings).  There will not be any water provided during the race.  The bike route will be posted to the website in the future.  After the race, water will be available.

**    Golf Format: See above notes regarding golf carts.   18 holes of golf - co-ed team format is scramble, male team and female team format is 6 holes scramble, 6 holes alternate shot, 6 holes best ball.

**    Lunch, Golf, and Dinner:  No showers are available.  We recommend bringing a clean change of clothing along with personal items to clean up after the bike and run race portions.   Lunch is no longer included.   The golf course will run the golf portion and will have beverage carts on the course for purchasing refreshments.  Dinner may, or may not, be included depending on which option you've selected (see above for details).  A full bar is available, but not paid for by the event (so bring cash).

*      Cancer and Critical Care Treatment Assistance Fund has been established in partnership with the Central DuPage Hospital and the Central DuPage Hospital Foundation to assist patients in need of special assistance by helping patients receive or continue medical care they might not have been able to otherwise afford.  Donations, separate from the entry fee, may be tax deductable and should be made directly to the "Central DuPage Health Foundation" with a memo section note "Cancer & Critical Care Fund.".  Any  checks strictly for donation and not  for the entry fee can be mailed to the Foundation at the address below:

*       Sponsors   Anyone can become a sponsor and we require assistance to fund this event.  Available sponsorships will consist of a Dinner Sponsor, Associate Sponsors, Corporate Sponsors, and Major Sponsors.  Click here to see how to become a sponsor.  Since Triple Challenge is not yet a non profit organization, a 501(c)3, the sponsorships are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but if the sponsor is a business, it could be deducted as a business expense such as advertising.  If you require a tax deduction for a donation, make your donation direct to the Cancer and Critical Care Treatment Assistance Fund as noted above.
